Recruitment of 73 Boys/Girls in various Court of West Bengal through West Bengal Judicial Service Exammination-2011

For works on various Courts of West Bengal, recruitment of 73 boys and Girls is going on in West Bengal Judicial Service. Law Degree Course pass candidates with name enrolled in Bar Council as an Advocate can apply for the post. Details given below:

Age should be between 23yrs to 35yrs as on 11-3-2011. Age relaxation for the candidates belongs to OBC- 3yrs, ST/SC-5yrs and PH candidates-10yrs.

Pay scale: Rs.27700- 44770

No. vacant post: 73 posts (Gen-48; OBC-cat A: 7; OBC-cat B: 5; SC: 7, ST: 4, PH-2)

General candidates can seat for this exam 3 times whereas SC/ST and OBC candidates can have 5 times.

For selection of candidates there will be first Preliminary Written Exam on the month of June at Kolkata. This exam will consist of 200 marks 200 nos. Objective Multiple Choice Type questions. If selected then will be called for main exam which may held on the month of August.

Along with application form, the following documents should be enclosed:-

• 2 nos passport size photo—one pasted on application form and then self sign on it, other copy should be kept with candidate for later use on Admit card
• 2 nos. self address (write Father’s Name) envelope, without any postal stamp
• Self attested copy of Madhyamik Admit card for age verification
• Self attested copy of Law Degree certificate
• Self attested copy of Bar Council name enrollment certificate
• Self attested copy of caste certificate/PH certificate
• Treasury Challan or Crossed Postal Order of Rs.210, P.O should be in favour of “The Public Service Commission, West Bengal” and should be cash-able at Kolkata. No fee required for SC/ST candidates

On the top of the application containing envelope, write: “Application for the post of West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2011, Advertisement No. 04/2011”. Submitting more than one application can cause cancellation of any application form submitted by the candidate.

Last date: Application should reach within 12th April 2011 at the following address: The Deputy Secretary (Examination), Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161A, S.P.
