22 Clerks, Typist and Assistant in West Bengal Pollution Control Board
West Bengal Pollution Control Board is recruiting 22 nos. for the post of Lower Division Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Junior Environmental Engineer and Assistant Environmental Engineer. Details given below:
1. Post: Lower Division Assistant.
Madhyamik pass candidates with knowledge to work on computer can apply. Pay-scale: 5400-25200 per month and Grade Pay: Rs. 2600. Vacant post: 5 nos. (Gen-2; OBC cat A- 1; SC-EC- 1; ST-1)
2. Post: Laboratory Assistant.
Higher Secondary pass in Science stream with minimum 2 years experience in Laboratory works can apply. Pay per month: Rs.5400-25200 and Grade Pay: Rs. 2600. Vacant post: 3 Nos. (SC-1, OBC cat B- 1; Gen EC- 1)
3. Post: Assistant Environmental Engineer.
Degree Course passes in Electrical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Instrumentation, Automobile or in Public Health Engineering can apply. Candidates should have knowledge to work on computer. Pay per month: Rs.9000-40500 and Grade pay: Rs. 5400. Vacant post: 7nos. (Gen-2; Gen EC-1; SC-1; SC EC-1; ST-1; OBC cat A- 1)
4. Post: Junior Environmental Engineer.
Required same as in post No.3
Pay scale: Rs.9000-40500 and Grade pay: Rs.4400. vacant post: 2 nos. (Gen EC-1; OBC catA- 1)
5. Post: Environmental Analyst.
Graduate in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Biochemistry or Biotechnology with working experience of minimum 2 years in Laboratory can apply. Candidates should have skill in computer. Pay scale: Rs.7100-37600. Grade pay: Rs.3900. vacant post: 2 nos. (OBC cat B-1; Gen-1)
6. Post: Stenographer.
Madhyamik pass candidates with speed of 40 and 80 words per minute in Typing and Shorthand can apply for the post. Should have proper skill in computer. Pay scale: 7100-37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600. vacant Post: 1 nos. for General candidates only.
7. Post: Typist.
Madhyamik pass with minimum speed of 40 words per minute in Computer typing can apply. Should have knowledge in computer. Pay scale: Rs. 5400-25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600. vacant post: 1 nos. for ST candidates only.
For all the above mentioned post, the age should be between 18yrs to 37yrs as on 1-1-2011. SC/ST and OBC candidates will receive age relaxation as per govt. norms.
For selection of candidates, there will be Written Test, Trade Test and then Interview.
