SUB-DIVISIONAL INFORMATION AND CULTURAL OFFICER

No. of Vacancies: 32 Nos. (UR-16, OBC-06, SC-08, ST-01, PWD-01)

 

Educational Qualification:

i) A degree from a recognized University.

Candidates should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).

 

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 36 years as on 01.01.2018.

 

Pay Scale: Rs. 9,000/- – Rs. 40,500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4,700/-

 

The vacancies are in the West Bengal Sub-Ordinate Information and Cultural Service under the Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The post is Permanent in nature.

Reserved Category candidates from the states other than West Bengal shall be treated as General Candidates.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Personality Test.
