WEST BENGAL PSC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR WEST BENGAL JUDICIAL SERVICE EXAMINATION-2015. LAST DATE — 11/05/2015

 

West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2015
Number of vacancies to be filled through the Examination: 44 Nos. (Gen-30; SC-04; ST-02; OBC-07 & PWD-1)

 

Educational Qualification: Degree in Law and should have enrollment as an advocate in the roll of Bar Council.

Applicants shall have ability to Read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hill Sub-divisions of Darjeeling District, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Kalimpong and Kurseong).

 

Age Limit: 23 to 35 years as on 18.04.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years, PWD is 10 years and others as per govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.27700/- to Rs.44770/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Final Examination and Personality Test.
The Preliminary Examination will be held in Kolkata (Code-01) and Darjeeling (Code-02) in June 2015. The Final Examination will be held at Kolkata in August 2015.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.210/- through Online mode by using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking. Fee can be also paid through any branches of United Bank of India by means of fee payment challan.

No Fee only for SC/ST/PWD candidates of West Bengal.

Note: Fee exemption and Age relaxation is not applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates of the Other States.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official website of PSCWB— www.pscwbonline.gov.in from dated 20.04.2015 to 11.05.2015

Candidates will have to register with the website of PSC by clicking the link “One Time Registration”. Candidates who are already registered may login to their dashboard.

Upon submission on online application, the system generated registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain the same for future reference. Do not send any print-out/ hard copy to the commission at this stage.
