Establishing/Strengthening of Sate Climate Change centre/Cell under National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (SCCC NMSHE) in the state of West Bengal – Projects for the period of five years.
1. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Minimum 55% marks in Master’s degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geography /Agriculture & Soil Science/Economics/ Environmental Science/ Remote Sensing & GIS.
Desirable: PG Diploma in Geoinformatics or equivalent Experience in preparation of various theme maps using RS & GIS NET/GATE/SLET qualified.
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on 01.06.2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18,700/- per month.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Minimum 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree with Sociology /Social Work/ Economics/ Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geography /Agriculture & Soil Science/ Environmental Science.
Basic Computer Knowledge.
Desirable: Experience in Data Analysis, Fluency in English. Experience in Community Service.
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on 01.06.2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.8000/- per month.
Monitoring of Integrated Watershed Programme (IWMP) Watersheds using Geospatial Technologies – Project for the period of five years.
