WEST BENGAL COLLEGE SERVICE COMMISSION (WBCSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE WEST BENGAL STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (SET)- 2018. LAST DATE — 15/09/2018

 

WEST BENGAL STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (SET)- 2018

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (at least 50% marks for SC/ST/ OBC(NCL)/ PWD categories) from recognised Universities/ Institutions.

 

Age Limit: No upper age limit.

 

The candidates who qualify SET will be eligible for post of Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of West Bengal.

Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for the test.

 

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of candidates will be through State Eligibility Test (SET) consisting of Paper-I and Paper-II. The State Eligibility Test (SET) will be held on 9th December, 2018 at various centres in West Bengal State.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for OBC and Rs.250/- for SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC). See released advertisement for more details.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) — www.wbcsconline.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 16/08/2018 to 15/09/2018.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
