West Central Railway, Jabalpur (M.P.) requires 4517 Trackman, Helper, Khalasi, Etc (Erstwhile Group-D). Last Dt. 15/01/2014 (30.1.2014)

West Central Railway (WCR), Jabalpur (M.P.), is recruiting 4517 candidates for the posts of – Trackman, Helper, Khalasi, Parcel Porter, Safaiwala, Asst. Pointsman, Etc. in the Pay Band- 1 of Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1800/- (Erstwhile Group ‘D’). Employment Notice No.02/2013. Educational Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief are given below —

TRACKMAN, HELPER, KHALASI, PARCEL PORTER, SAFAIWALA, ASST. POINTSMAN, ETC. 
Number of Vacancies: 4517 Nos. (Gen—1823; SC—544; ST—271; OBC—978; Ex-Servicemen—903). Out of them 135 reserved for PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification: Educational Qualification: Matriculation/ Class 10 pass OR ITI or equivalent. Candidates awaiting result are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medicial Examination.
Written Examination will be based on Class 10 Standard consisting of 100 multiple choice objective type question on General Knowledge, Awareness, Mathematics, Reasoning, Etc.

Physical Efficiency Test will be as follows:—
For Male candidates: Run of 1000 mtrs in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance
For Female candidates: Run of 400 mtrs in 3 minutes and 10 seconds in one chance

Written Examination/ PET and other stages of recruitment process will be carried at any station of the following Divisions — Jabalpur, Bhopal, Kota.

Examination Fee: Candidates willing to apply must prepare a Crossed Demand Draft (DD) or Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of – ‘FA&CAO, West Central Railway Jabalpur’ and payable at – Jabalpur. 
The candidates must write the Employment Notice No.___ for Erstwhile Groups-D, Pay Band-5200—20200/ Grade Pay-1800/- and postal address in the reverse of the Bank Draft/ Front side at the space provided in the IPO.
NO EXAMINATION FEE FOR SC/ST, WOMEN CANDIDATES, MINORITIES AND ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD CLASSES.
