Western Naval Command requires 185 Storekeeper and Assistant Storekeeper. Last Dt. 30/09/12 (6-10-2012)

Western Naval Command is recruiting 185 Nos. “Storekeeper” and “Assistant Storekeeper” for their Naval units/ Formation under Headquarters — Western Naval Command, Eastern Naval Command and Southern Naval Command. The eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed Application Form. The Qualification requirement and other details in brief is given below —

1. Storekeeper: 23 Nos. (Gen—15; OBC—5; SC—3). Out of them 1nos. for PH and 2nos. for Ex-Serviceman.
Qualification: Degree and one year of experience in Stores works in reputed firm.
OR
Madhyamik pass with Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with one year of experience in Stores work in reputed firm/ workshop.
OR
Madhyamik pass with ITI or Apprenticeship certificate in Engineering trade with 2yrs of experience in reputed workshop
OR Madhyamik pass or equivalent with 5yrs of experience in Stores work in reputed firm/ workshop.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 30yrs
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2400/-

2. Assistant Storekeeper: 162 Nos. (Gen—68; SC—14; ST—10; OBC—70). Out of them 5nos. for PH and 16nos. for Ex-Serviceman.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent
Desirable: 2 years of experience in a workshop is desirable.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade pay: Rs.1900/-

Upper age relaxation: Age will be taken as on last date of application—for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs, PH—10yrs, Ex-Serviceman and other categories—as per norms.

How to Apply: Candidates may apply on prescribed application format. Application Form can be neatly typed on plain foolscap paper as per format. The Application Form should be enclosed with attested copies of documents in support of Age, Qualification, Caste, Experience, if applicable, Etc and 2 Nos. passport size photographs (write full name on the backside) and 2 Nos. Self-addressed envelopes (23x11cms) with postal stamp of Rs.6/-

Last Date of Application: Application form along with enclosures should reach on or before 15 days from the date of publication of this Advt. on Employment News’ newspaper, i.e. 30th September 2012. (06-10-2012 for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya , Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland , Tripura, Sikkim and far flung states)
