N.B: Ex-Servicemen were not eligible for any one of the above mentioned vacancies. New Advertisement/ Notification will be released for Ex-Serviceman in due course.
Qualification Required: Class 10 pass or ITI or equivalent qualification. Candidates having higher qualification may also apply. Candidates waiting for declaration of result may not apply.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01/01/2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PH—10yrs, Widow/ legally divorced women—2yrs (General). Others—as per norms. Refer the Advt. for details.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Details given in below mentioned link.
Examination Fee: Interested and eligible candidates must pay Rs.40/- only by depositing the amount in cash in any branch of State Bank of India through Fee payment Challan which is available on the official website of Western Railway — http://www.rrc-wr.com
SC/ST/PH/Women/ Minorities and Economically backward candidates do not need to pay Examination fee. Such candidates should enclose Caste/ Income certificate in support along with application form.
How to Apply: Candidates should first register themselves online only from the official site of Western Railway – http://www.rrc-wr.com. After filling the online form mentioning the details, the system will generated an Application Form with Unique Registration Number. Candidates should print-out this system Generated Application Form and Fee payment challan.
Now candidates can fill the print-out application form and then along with Attested copies of Qualification certificates, Caste certificate, Age proof, Trade certificate, if any, Original fee receipt, Spare passport size photographs and Etc, should sent it through Ordinary Post at the below given address.
The top of the application form containing envelope should be super scribe — “Application For Posts in Pay Band‐I of Rs.5200‐20200 with Grade Pay of 1800 – Western Railway”
