Western Railway — Direct Recruitment of sports persons against Sports Quota (OpenAdvertisement) on Western Railway for the year 2014-15. Employment Notice No. 01/2014 (Sports). Note: Since this is sports quota vacancies, so there is no reservation for SC/ST and OBC.

ELIGIBILITY:
QUALIFICATION NORMS FOR VACANCIES IN PB-1 RS.5200—20200 WITH GRADE PAY RS.2800/2400
Educational Qualification: Graduate
Sports Eligibility: Candidates shall have represented the Country in Olympic Games (Senior category) OR have obtained at least 3rd position by representing the Country in the/ World cup/World Championships (Junior/Senior)/Asian Games (Senior) / Commonwealth Games (Senior).

QUALIFICATION NORMS FOR VACANCIES IN PB-1 RS.5200—20200 WITH GRADE PAY RS.2000/1900
Educational Qualification: SSC/ Matriculation
Sports Eligibility: Shall have represented the Country in State/ National or International level games or have represented a University in All India Inter University Championship. See PDF below for details.

QUALIFICATION NORMS FOR VACANCIES IN PB-1 RS.5200—20200 WITH GRADE PAY RS.1800
Educational Qualification: SSC/ Matriculation
Sports Eligibility: Represented the Country in the Commonwealth Games/ Asia Cup (Junior)/ Asian Championship/ SAF (Senior)/ USIC (Senior) OR represented the State in Federation Cup or Senior/Youth/ Junior National Championship OR represented a Unit or District of the State in the Senior State Championship and obtained atleast 3rd Position.

Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2015.

Examination Fee: Rs.100/- shall be paid in form of IPO drawn in favour of Western Railway Sports Association, Mumbai.
NO FEE FOR SC/ ST/ WOMEN/ MINORITIES AND ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD CANDIDATES.

Candidates Selection: All eligible candidates will be called for Trail and after Trial only the fit candidates will be called for Interview.

The Application form shall be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Sports Eligibility, Caste certificate, Age proof and Etc.
