INDIAN COAST GUARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR YANTRIK- 01/2020 BATCH (COURSE COMMENCING IN FEBRUARY). LAST DATE — 17/08/2019
YANTRIK
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering with 60% in aggregate.
Note: 5% relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years.
Basic Pay: Rs. 29200/- per month.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply. The basic training of candidates will commence in February 2020 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — Minimum 157 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination. The Written Test will be conducted at following centres- Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Noida.

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
