i) Mechanical- 19 posts
ii) Electrical- 03 posts
iii) Electronics and Telecommunication- 15 posts
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering with 60% in aggregate.
Note:- 5% relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for SC/ ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Inter state National Championship.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years.
Basic Pay: Rs.29200 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
The Physically Challenged candidates are not eligible to apply for the post.
The basic training of selected candidates will commence in August 2020 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — Minimum 157 cms; Chest — Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination. The Written Test will be scheduled during the month of April 2020. The test will be held at the following centers- Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Noida. For address please see the Official Advt.
