Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification
Essential:- Candidates must possess a Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Desirable:- 01 year of practical experience in wireless communication (including installation and maintenance of wireless transmitters and receivers) or assistance in navigation (including visual and radio for navigation), automatic relay systems, or diesel generator sets.

Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:- The candidate’s minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 27 years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
(i) The prescribed lower and upper age limits shall be calculated as the closing date. The important date for determining the age limit will be the last date of receipt of applications from candidates in India. The upper age limit is relaxable subject to the submission of necessary certificates.
(ii) Relaxation of upper age limit for other categories such as Ex-Servicemen/Physically Handicapped/SC candidates etc. will be as per acceptable norms of Govt. of India for recruitment to posts as on closing date.
(iii) Servants up to 40 years of age in the case of General for Govt (as per DOPT OM).

DGLL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
(a) Candidates who fulfill the requirements as per recruitment rules will be called for a written test. All unsuccessful candidates will be eliminated at this stage and will not be allowed to appear for further selection process. Only successful candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process.
(b) The date of the written examination will be intimated to the candidates by post. The examination center will be indicated on the admit card. Under no circumstances will the examination center and examination date be changed. Candidates are advised to visit the website from time to time.
