Terms & Conditions for appointment –
The appointment is initially for a period of one year temporarily, co-terminus with the project, with the possibility of an extension of up to three years based on performance from the date of joining. If not extended further, the appointment will automatically lapse.
The Principal Investigator reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time without assigning any reason if the appointee’s performance is deemed unsatisfactory.
Qualifications and experience should be from a reputable institute in a relevant discipline/field, acquired after obtaining the minimum essential qualification.
In the event of resignation, the appointee can provide one month’s notice or pay one month’s salary.
The appointee is not entitled to any travel or daily allowance for attending interviews or joining the appointment.
The Principal Investigator holds the discretion to relax/alter qualification, experience, and other terms and conditions. The decision of the Competent authority will be final.
The appointee shall perform assigned duties, with the authority reserving the right to assign additional duties as required. No extra allowances will be provided for such assignments.
The appointee shall be on a full-time appointment with JIPMER, refraining from accepting any other paid assignments or engaging in private practice during the contract period.
The appointee is not eligible for benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, or other benefits available to regularly appointed Government Servants.
The appointee is not eligible for official accommodation or quarters allotment within the campus, as applicable to other regular employees of the Institute.
Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
Submission of incorrect or false information during the selection process will disqualify the candidacy at any stage.
