Karnataka Police Constable Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of four stages:
i. Written Test (Offline-OMR Format)

Candidates who qualify all physical and medical tests will be shortlisted in a 1:2 ratio per vacancy for final merit-based selection.
KSP Constable Salary 2026
The Karnataka Police Constable (Civil) salary pay scale is Rs. 37,500 – Rs. 76,100/- per month. Candidates will also be eligible for other Government of Karnataka allowances and benefits including the National Pension Scheme (NPS).
Training: Selected candidates will undergo 9 months of basic foundation police training at designated Police Training Schools. Candidates failing during training will be removed from service.
Probation Period: Direct recruits will be on probation for 2 years and 6 months after appointment.
