Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years for General Category and EWS candidates. Date of Birth should fall between 01.07.1998 and 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Note: For NATS-registered candidates, the graduation result must have been declared between 01.03.2022 and 31.07.2026 (both dates inclusive).

Step-by-Step Process to Apply Online
- Register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) or NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) before applying.
- Visit www.iob.bank.in under the “Careers” page or www.bfsissc.com / https://beep.bfsissc.com under “Career Opportunities.”
- Click “Apply Online” under Engagement of Apprentices.
- NATS-registered candidates should log in to the NATS portal and apply under “Apply against advertised vacancies.” NAPS-registered candidates should search “Indian Overseas Bank” under “Search By Establishment Name” and click “Apply for this Opportunity.”
- Provide your NATS/NAPS Enrolment number while filling the online application.
- Candidates can apply for only ONE State/UT, preferably their home State/UT.
- Pay the requisite application fee/intimation charges online.
- Review all entered information carefully, as the application once made cannot be withdrawn.
- Submit the application form and retain a copy of the submitted form sent to the registered email.

IOB Apprentice Selection Process
Selection will be made through:
1. Online Written Test (Objective Type)

Duration: 90 minutes. Candidates must score a minimum percentage on aggregate as decided by the Bank (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD). There is no minimum qualifying mark for individual subjects.
2. Test of Local Language
Candidates applying for a particular state must be proficient in one of the local languages of that state. This test is conducted after qualifying the written exam, during document verification. Candidates who have studied the specified local language up to 10th/12th standard are exempted from this test.
3. Document Verification / Personal Interaction
Conducted at designated centres across India, followed by verification of eligibility documents, caste/category certificates, and medical fitness.
