- First Class B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.

Engineering Assistant (Electrical)
First Class 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology, with 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Scientific Assistant
First Class B.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognised university, with 5 years of experience in the relevant subject field.

If a large number of eligible candidates apply, CPRI may limit the number called for document verification, skill test or trade test.
Exam Centres
The CBT will be held in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Delhi and Kolkata. CPRI will try to allot each candidate’s preferred centre but may assign a different city. Requests to change the centre will not be entertained.
CPRI Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be paid as per the 7th CPC pay matrix. They will also receive Leave, LTC, medical benefits and allowances as per Government of India norms.
