Candidates are selected in three stages. The final merit list is prepared strictly on written exam marks and published on the ICG website.

Final Merit List

All documents must have been issued on or before 24 November 2026. The written exam will be held at New Mangalore and Bhubaneswar, although the centres may change for administrative reasons. SC candidates can claim second-class rail/bus fare by the shortest route on submitting original tickets. This does not apply if the centre is within 30 km of their residence or if they are already in Central/State Government service.
