As per the official notice (eCF No. 831230/115), the Screening Test (OMR Based) and Written Test (Conventional Type) will be held on 04th October 2026 (Sunday) in two sittings.

APSC Junior Home Guard Exam Date 2026
The Commission will conduct both papers on the same day. Paper-I is an OMR-based objective test held in the morning session, and Paper-II is a conventional descriptive paper held in the afternoon session.

No intimation letter will be sent to candidates by post. Candidates must download the e-Admission Certificate themselves from the official APSC website, www.apsc.nic.in.

- There shall be minimum qualifying marks separately in each paper, as fixed by the Commission.
- Paper-I will be evaluated first. Paper-II will be evaluated only for candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I.

- Speech should be without impediment (no stammering).

- Limbs, hands and feet well formed with perfect motion of all joints.
- Both testicles (for male candidates) in the scrotum and of normal size.
